About Me

Hi there!

My name is Suzanne.

A little bit about me…I have always loved to create. My mom taught me how to knit when I was a girl. Recently, I taught myself how to crochet and I fell in love! In early 2018, I started Shabby Sheep Apparel by making hats. I love making items, but I realized I loved designing new patterns even more. It’s not enough for me to just make, I love the design and creating process in a whole! I love being inspired and dreaming up and making patterns a reality, but most of all I love sharing these free crochet patterns with all of you!

I am a Christian and if you ever have any questions for me about my relationship with Christ, feel free to reach out!

In University, I studied Music and French (I’m actually a classically trained singer!). So needless to say I’ve always had a passion for the arts.

My Inspirations

My husband, Jonathan, and I were married in 2015 and I moved across the country from the Greater Toronto Area to Edmonton, Alberta! Our first son, Edward was born in late 2016 and our second son, Samuel, in early 2018. These boys are my inspiration and my drive! I love being able to stay at home with them and have a creative/financial outlet to help my husband support our family!

Being a stay at home mom, a Dave Ramsey fanatic, and a yarn lover I understand the desire for free patterns! I am here to help make crocheting an enjoyable (and budget friendly) experience. So grab your hooks and some yarn and come join me for some fun!
