Striped Scarf Crochet Pattern for Men

Man wearing black and grey striped crochet scarf and blue cabled beanie.
Jonathan is wearing his striped scarf with a Cabled Beanie

My husband does not often wear scarves, but he loves this Striped Scarf Crochet Pattern for men, thankfully! It makes me so happy when he’ll actually wear something I make for him. I designed it specifically with the Jonathan Beanie in mind. The composition is similar by being composed mainly of half double crochet stitches and two rows of single crochet stitches in a contrasting color.

This pattern is super easy to make, it’s a simple construction and a great mindless project to make while binging your favourite show, I’m trying to multi-task and am currently watching one of my favorites, Heartland on Netflix, while I type up this post!

The yarn I used is the same as the Cabled Beanie, it’s Universal Yarn’s Uptown Worsted. Their shades of heather are super gorgeous, I love the flecks of color in the yarn. I used Phantom Heather and Titanium Heather for this scarf and Denim Heather for the Cabled Beanie.

I am so happy with the ease that this pattern was created and made. I love it when what I’m imagining comes out exactly how I want it without any hiccups. I hope you have a great time crocheting this scarf, I’d love to see what colors you choose so make sure to tag me on Facebook and Instagram! Now for the free pattern, enjoy!
